Black Fur Collar

Fur Collars are a must for the colder seasons. Aside from the obvious (warmth!) they can really add something to a plain blazer/jacket. This one is from H and M and also comes in blonde and burgundy shades-I wanted to buy them all. I am wearing mine with an oversized vintage-style blazer from New Look which I got in the sale last year. I love monochrome colours for the winter and shades of dark grey and black are so versatile.

I am still loving the collar necklace trend, this one is an Asos piece, as well as the jumper and collar look (see older **POST** ). My shorts are a leather pair from Topshop; leather bottoms are everywhere!

Vintage Cardigan

Another week at work means back to the office look for me. Luckily the dress code is fairly casual so I can get away with my staple disco pants, black jeans and leather skirts.

I love vintage clothes and now that the weather is so much colder, warm knitwear is a must. This cardigan is an old Urban Outfitters number from the Renewal section and my tan brogues are from Topshop. My oversized bag is an Accessorize offering and keeping on trend with the goth-chic look, the spiked necklace is from Asos <3.

Little Black Dress

Every girl needs a little black dress in her wardrobe. For a Saturday night out I teamed this black and white number with a statement necklace and red clutch to inject a bit of colour into the outfit. I love 50s style and always think there is something very elegant about wearing monochrome shades with bright red accessories, nails and lips.

On my feet I wore lace-up mock Jeffrey Campbell boots in suede with ankle socks. By the end of the night my feet were in agony!

Leopard Print Skirt

I am a bit of a leopard print junkie. There is nothing worse than overdoing the look from head-to-toe Pat Butcher style, but it is one those timeless prints like stripes and polka dots that never really goes out of fashion. Last time I went into Zara it was full of bold red items of clothing teamed with leopard print shoes and accessories. I love the two together!

I found this skirt in a little charity shop last weekend. It was ankle length when I bought it but luckily the material was thin enough that I could cut it to a better length. I still plan on hemming it but haven't had time just yet.

Stripey Jumper & Disco Pants

If you haven't already invested in a pair of disco pants, do it! Although the American Apparel originals are expensive, you can find cheaper alternatives on Asos Marketplace and ebay. Although I have had the black pair for a while now, I am now contemplating getting the electric blue or bright red version, but I am not sure I would ever wear them.

Fur Gilets are a must for autumn and in-between seasons weather. In winter I plan on wearing mine over my biker and army jacket for extra warmth but at the moment, over a jumper is sufficient.

Stripes are timeless and as a print, never go out of fashion. At the weekend my mission was to find a stripey jumper and I picked this up at a charity shop for £4. My patent loafers are an old Urban Outfitters pair and my satchel is from Amazon.

Loving Leather

Here I have teamed oxblood with a leather biker jacket and skirt for a grunge-chic look. Both are trending for AW12. Satchels never really went 'out', but they seem to be re-gaining a strong presence on the high street with the Cambridge Satchel Company *LINK* dominating with neon shades of pink, green and yellow.

I am a lover of desert boots and last winter lived in a beige pair, much like the Clarks Originals *LINK*. These little black booties are a Primark offering for £8! I was very pleased with myself. My jacket is an £80 Zara number and the skirt is from H and M.

Leather Collar Boyfriend Coat

If you're struggling to find a winter coat, a midi length camel number usually does the job. After a successful weekend of shopping, this new boyfriend coat was my 'buy of the day'. I had gone out to look for a Trench coat but this has filled the void.

It comes from none other than Primark in navy with black or, in this case, beige with brown. This means there isn't a hefty price tag involved (£30) and I absolutely love the leather detail on the collar and oversized buttons. Given that it was the only one left in my size, I took it as a sign!

To add to this classic look I have teamed my black, knitted jumper with a collared white shirt and tan Brogues.
